Border Security Specialist

This is a challenging career-ladder position that offers opportunities to progress through five grade levels, including GL-5/7/GL-9/GS-11/GS-12.

• GL-5: You must possess one year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge and make sound decisions in stressful situations or have a bachelor's degree. Alternatively, you can combine education and experience equivalent to the above requirement.

• For GL-7, you need 1 year specialized work experience involving making sound judgments using firearms dealing effectively with people courteous law enforcement matters analyzing information rapidly taking prompt decisions enforcing criminal codes laws correctional rehabilitation applying skills as officers security military etc.
