Customs and Border Protection Officers play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs and immigration laws, and protecting the American people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws to prevent illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.
- Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
- Conduct inspections of conveyances to ensure compliance with regulations.
The Customs and Border Protection Officer is responsible for inspecting merchandise entering or exiting the country. They must have excellent observation skills as well as be able to make quick decisions under pressure. This officer works closely with other agencies including US Customs Service agents who are part of ICE (Immigration & Custom Enforcement).

The Job has different qualification based on which candidate will get selected - either Experience/ Education Combination.
P What this means candidate either need 'One year' experience like typical law enforcement officer functions in his previous job OR he may choose another option .Education Substitution: A Master's degree from an accredited university,
or two years ,or higher graduate school level education towards such MBA/Masters leading end so one it should cover both conditions depending upon their circumstances.Even If You Are Currently Working As Police /lawmen In Other Department That Have Similar Kind Of Work Function For Them Then Not Eligible!
