Border Patrol Career Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents. As a BPA, you will be responsible for protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.


• Maintain surveillance from covert positions to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.


• Analyze tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry.

To qualify for this position, you must possess one (1) year of general work experience demonstrating leadership skills or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement. You also need excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze information rapidly. For GL-7 grade level candidates require specialized work experience in law enforcement matters including dealing effectively with people in a courteous manner.
