Job Title:

• Conduct searches and inspections of people, vehicles, and properties to detect violations of immigration and customs laws.
• Patrol borders, coastal waterways, and other areas to prevent the entry of unauthorized individuals or contraband.

To qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience in law enforcement that includes duties such as conducting investigations apprehending violators searching documents inspecting premises making arrests interrogating suspects preparing reports serving warrants using firearms proficiently interpreting complex data analyzing evidence developing investigative leads maintaining surveillance operating motorized conveyances including boats motorcycles snowmobiles all terrain vehicles bicycles etc communicating effectively with diverse groups public private partners stakeholders victims witnesses assailants bystanders property owners etc providing testimony translating interpreting for limited English proficiency LEP populations performing forensic analysis using various tools instruments software programs designing implementing securing computer databases relating budget information fraud systems multiple financial datasets supporting police departments organizations drug agencies agencies either local state federal government sworn sworn personnel higher municipal planners
