We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers.
Job Description
The role of a Customs and Border Protection Officer is multifaceted, requiring strong law enforcement skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of customs laws and regulations.
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances; facilitate the flow of legitimate trade;
- Determine admissibility for entry into the United States; prevent illegal entry of goods or contraband;
The officer will be responsible for conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity to gather information from suspected violators. They must also apply knowledge of regulations to make accurate judgments regarding potential threats.
