CBP is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPOs). As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing laws, and promoting economic prosperity.
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
- Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.
- Conduct inspections of individuals, conveyances, cargo/bags/merchandise.
The following qualifications are required for this position:
Possess specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
gather information from suspected violators through interviews . , make judgments regarding admissibility;conduct examinations /inspections
