Federal Border Security Specialist

1. Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, as well as preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens.

BPA responsibilities also include interpreting physical evidence, conducting farm checks, patrolling international boundaries, and engaging with communities along our nation's border regions.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
A valid driver’s license is essential. Ability to speak Spanish fluently also considered desirable since many encounters may involve foreign nationals speaking limited English.
