• Detecting individuals suspected of violating immigration laws through careful observation and questioning
• Inspecting documents and possessions to verify citizenship or identify violations
• Pursuing aliens attempting to breach our borders using surveillance methods
• Analyzing tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to determine illegal entry points
