This Customs Officer role is part of our team responsible for protecting America by safeguarding its borders and enforcing customs laws. As a CBPO (CBP Field Operations Academy), you will undergo comprehensive training covering various aspects such as basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, cargo/bag inspection, physical fitness tests etc.
You will also attend an online Spanish training program if assigned to specific duty locations.
The successful candidate will be expected to complete 52 weeks in each grade level before being eligible for promotion to higher positions within the agency.
