A Border Security Specialist
Description:
This role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in law enforcement or a related field, and be able to demonstrate their knowledge of immigration laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status
- Pursuing undocumented non-citizens and smugglers at or near the border
Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess one year of general work experience demonstrating sound judgment, decision-making, and composure under stress. Alternatively, they may hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR a combination of relevant education and experience.
A minimum level 7 clearance is required for this position which involves making decisions about who we let into our country.
