Job Description
The Customs and Border Protection Officer is a critical role that requires dedication, skill, and a strong work ethic. As a CBPO, you will be responsible for enforcing customs laws and regulations, protecting the nation's borders from illegal activity, and ensuring the free flow of trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs laws and regulations to prevent smuggling of prohibited goods.
- Conduct inspections of individuals, vehicles, cargo shipments, and conveyances to detect potential threats to national security.
- Determine admissibility of individuals entering or exiting the United States in accordance with immigration policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in law enforcement methods.
Certified candidates possess exceptional communication skills ('synonyms' entails masterfully utilized abilities),demonstrated tactical thinking capabilities (Applicable denotations include
