We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to help grow our business and contribute to our future.
In this role, you will be key in guiding financial decision-making, acting as a trusted advisor between business units and the Finance team. You'll lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with IFRS and corporate policies. With a focus on performance monitoring, cost optimization, and strategic financial insights, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative and analytical environment.
Reporting to the Director, Finance, other highlights include:
Act as a finance expert and strategic partner, providing consultation and advice on financial issues.
Lead budgeting and forecasting, conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and cost-saving opportunities.
Provide financial reporting and variance analysis, developing models for financial planning and analysis.
Develop, report, and monitor business KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
Lead initiatives like project cost tracking, costing and cash flow models.
Support business units in using Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials for reporting and analysis.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and financial policies, enhancing financial knowledge across the organization.
Assist with audits and external financial reporting, including statements, MD&A, and regulatory filings.
What you'll need:
University degree in Business Administration or Commerce, with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or experience in public accounting, financial statements, tax, and audit preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and discounted cash flow analysis.
Expertise in IFRS, financial policies, and compliance, with the ability to assess and interpret new accounting guidelines.
Proven analytical skills to evaluate financial results, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in financial systems, including Excel, with knowledge of Adaptive Planning, and Workday Financials a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
