ResponsibilitiesAbout the role: As a main point of contact to a particular business area, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand their unique challenges, objectives, and reporting needs. You will be responsible for designing sophisticated dashboards and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable, visually appealing insights. You will provide innovative solutions and recommendations that maximize operational efficiency and uncover hidden trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and maintain reports using Excel, Cognos, and Salesforce; create dashboards and KPI reports.
- Prepare dealer performance, lease penetration, carline, pricing, and CDN Protection product reports.
- Support monthly executive, investor, demographic, and remarketing reports; update Canadian Reporting Center.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes; handle ad hoc reporting requests.
- Collaborate with operational teams to meet reporting needs and ensure accuracy within guidelines.
- Analyze data for new product initiatives; review market trends and operational strategies.
- Perform data mining using SQL, SAS, Cognos, Access, and Excel via Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Provide strategic recommendations across Sales, Credit, Funding, Servicing, CX, Finance, and Remarketing.
- Build and maintain dashboards for industry trends, retention, residuals, and pricing models.
- Support system integration, assist with projects through data analysis, and participate in system testing.
- Provide data support to GM Oshawa, GMF Texas, and third-party vendors.

Experience:
2 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in data analysis, data mining, statistic, and forecasting and loan portfolio analysis
Automotive Finance, Data Reporting and Analytics, Leasing or Retail Finance experience preferred
Experience with Cognos, SAS, Salesforce and Excel dashboards preferred
Post-secondary degree or diploma required.

The base range for this role is: $61,000-80,000
At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits after 30 days of employment.
