Wage: $18 - $20 - Based on Experience

Summary: This position is responsible for the efficient operations of all kitchen systems, a positive atmosphere, and a lasting impression to all guests with our highest standards in taste, presentation and consistency of our menu items.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Under the guidance of the chef you will execute assigned duties as required, including prep, cooking, deep cleans…etc.
• Promote a positive "teamwork" environment.
• Perform all line and prep duties with competency and efficiency
• Cohesively work with the rest of the BOH team.
• Promoting a safe, clean sanitary working environment.
• Complying with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Opening/Closing and side duties as per the Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitoring and ensuring the highest level of food safety.
• Consistently following kitchen standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a positive and committed "Go above and beyond" attitude.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working in restaurant kitchens required
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, and a passion for culinary excellence.
• Weekend availability is required (Saturday, Sunday)
• Food handlers would be considered an asset
• Ability to work in face paced high pressure environment
