What We Do There has never been a more exciting time to be at WAHA. We are an integrated health system providing the full continuum of care to the six communities of the western James Bay coast with over 500 employees, physicians, and partners in care. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment for hospital setting.
- Must be knowledgeable of safety practices, procedures and guidelines
- Possess a friendly and helpful demeanor and disposition.
- Open to new ideas and committed to continuous improvement
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Responsible for investigating and acting as security agents for area managers and patrons
- Act as First Responder in Emergency Code Events
- Responsible for the usage of audio and video equipment
- Oversee all security and CCTV surveillance issues
- Oversee and maintain the administration of security programs
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent or minimum 1 year in related field.
- Security Guard License
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Level 2 CPIC
- Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan
