THE ROLE:
 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Rotating Equipment Planner to join our team in Calgary.
Reporting to the Team Lead Planning, you will be responsible for developing rotating equipment job plans and budgets to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the company's assets.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Develop job plans for all rotating equipment reliability responsibilities related to the Field Asset Maintenance and Reliability (FAMR) policy
  • Develop and deliver three to five year job plans for rotating equipment
  • Build, track and monitor the annual rotating equipment budget
  • Manage major overhauls, including material procurement, specialized tooling requirements, and third-party contractor coordination
  • Steward corporate processes to FAMR including taking an active role in identifying and contributing to related continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support annual turnaround planning
  • Complete vendor management competency assessments and work order validation for rotating equipment activities
  • Manage rotating equipment preventative maintenance program
  • Identify and track cost saving activities related to rotating equipment plans
  • Collaborate with the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) to ensure job plans are understood and effectively implemented
  • Implement actions identified by the Rotating Equipment Engineer
  • Provide technical assistance and advice to the field execution team for reliability and maintenance related items
  • Participate in incident investigation as required

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 5+ years of experience related to the planning of rotating equipment job plans
  • Post-secondary diploma within oil and gas discipline or trade; i.e. Pipefitting, Electrical, Mechanical &/or Instrumentation would be considered an asset
  • Competency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); proficiency with Maximo and/or SAP, as well as experience with Power BI, are considered assets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and take initiative in solving problems
