Position Overview:
The Commercial Account Manager will play a key role in servicing and supporting commercial clients. This role involves a mix of client service, administrative processing, and supporting the Account Executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and professional service to commercial insurance clients
Process incoming commercial documentation and maintain accurate client files
Prepare quotes, renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance
Submit and follow up on applications with insurers and underwriters
Assist in invoicing and payment processing
Support and back up Account Executives as needed
Liaise with underwriters and adjusters to negotiate coverage and track claim status
Source and compile additional information requested by insurers
Qualifications:
High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience (property/casualty and auto preferred)
Level 2 Agent License in Alberta (preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to service
Previous sales experience is considered an asset
Experience with construction insurance and surety bonding is also an asset
