The Senior Wealth Advisor Associate plays an integral role in the delivery of superior personalized service to our high-net-worth member owners. The primary accountability of the role is to assist the Senior Wealth Advisors with their day-to-day administration, sales and service in an efficient and effective manner thereby allowing the Senior Wealth Advisors vital contact time with members.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist the Senior Wealth Advisors by supporting the delivery of the full financial planning experience to high net worth ($250,000+) members using the CFP's six steps of financial planning through an understanding of processes, systems and documentation required. Accurate, timely completion of required documentation including account opening, transfers, trades, tracking and other paperwork with appropriate follow up as necessary.
Respond to all members, team and partner enquiries promptly and proactively providing professional, friendly, competent and courteous service at all times.
The licensed Senior Wealth Advisor Associate is able to execute trades in line with risk objectives for members.
Respond to member complaints within assigned limits, with follow up on issues/opportunities as required, ensuring member complaints are handled in accordance with our service standards, escalating issues when necessary.
Assist the Senior Wealth Advisors to achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals in the following areas: Growth of the book of business, Revenue, Asset Gathering, Sales/renewals of solutions to meet member needs, including Servus Term Deposits. Life Insurance, Member Segmentation.
Refer to internal partners – retail, business banking and other channels as appropriate.
Participate enthusiastically in assisting in the creation and execution of corporate and branch campaigns, and marketing/business development plans.
Ensure all corporate policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements to mitigate the risk of loss to the Credit Union and members. (e.g., Compliance, money laundering, privacy, etc.).
What You Bring
To qualify, you will need at least 2 years' experience in the wealth industry including securities and compliance.
Knowledge of Financial Planning, products, policies, procedures and operations
Education And Training
High School Diploma.
Finance related post-secondary is an asset.
Securities industry training.
Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course and CPH are definite assets.
