About The Role
We are building a unified SaaS platform that replaces our current Google Sheets-based workflows for Amazon PPC management, inventory planning, and seller analytics. The complete methodology already exists and is proven: optimization rules, decision-making frameworks, inventory formulas, training guides, all currently running as Google Sheets workflows with supporting documentation. Everything works. The job is to turn it into an AI-driven, automated platform.
The platform will automate the full cycle: pulling reports from Seller Central via SP-API, applying our existing rules and logic automatically, enriching decisions with AI-powered recommendations, and converting approved actions into bulk operation files for one-click upload back into Amazon. All behind a clean, client-facing dashboard.
We're looking for a Technical Product Lead who can own this end-to-end: architecture, development, API integrations, AI features, and deployment. This is not a team management role. It's a high-autonomy builder role where you are the primary engineer, using AI-assisted development tools to move fast.
What You'll Build
- A multi-tenant web platform with secure client login, role-based access, and dashboards
- Automated report ingestion via SP-API: PPC reports (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Search Terms) pulled automatically, replacing all manual downloads from Seller Central
- Rule-based optimization engine that applies our existing, proven decision-making logic for PPC (placement bidding, keyword bidding, keyword harvesting, negative keyword management, bleeding/wasted spend detection) and inventory management (restock forecasting, velocity tracking, lead time calculations). All workflows already exist on Google Sheets. Your job is to automate them.
- AI-powered recommendation layer that enriches the rule-based outputs using our data and logic, giving clients clearer direction and easier decision-making
- Automated bulk operations output: once the client reviews and approves recommendations, the platform converts them into bulk sheets formatted for direct upload through Amazon's Bulk Operations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience (e.g., + , or similar stack)
- Direct experience with Amazon SP-API (Selling Partner API), including Advertising API, Reports API, and Bulk Operations
- Familiarity with Amazon PPC concepts: campaign structures, match types, bid strategies, placement modifiers, search term analysis (deep PPC expertise is not required, our rules and methodology are fully documented)
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms with authentication, database design, and background job processing
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor Copilot and Claude). You use these daily to ship faster.
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD, and production deployment
- Self-directed, autonomous, and able to make architecture decisions independently
Nice To Have
- Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Claude API) into production applications for recommendations or natural language interfaces
- Background in e-commerce, Amazon FBA, or marketplace operations
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes for high-volume Amazon report data
- UI/UX design sense or experience with component libraries (Tailwind, shadcn/ui)
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
