About the opportunity:

In the Associate Director, Media Strategy & Planning position, you will help to shape and execute the online marketing strategies, develop and optimize highly-effective paid campaigns across media channels, with the goal to increase customer base and engagement levels. This is a role where you will partner with client managers and innovation leaders from one of our major technology clients.  Our ideal candidate is an outstanding senior digital marketing leader with experience across all facets of digital marketing, a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, with a natural aptitude for collaboration. At this time, all positions are exclusively work from home. Once the company decides to resume normal office operations, your time will be spent in our office, though frequency is subject to change based on business needs and general health and safety considerations.

What you'll do:
  • Strategically lead complex media programs for a diverse, global client portfolio, consistently delivering insightful recommendations and action plans that drive high ROI
  • Manage resources across a global portfolio of paid media programs
  • Develop comprehensive media strategies and tactically execute online customer acquisition campaigns that align directly with client goals
  • Lead and execute large-scale paid media campaigns across Google Ads, social media channels, and programmatic platforms
  • Provide ongoing management and optimization of these campaigns with a heavy emphasis on tracking, automation, script creation and reporting
  • Analyze, review and present Quarterly Business Reviews to stakeholders and recommend areas of growth for the account.
  • Mentor your team to develop and tactically execute online customer acquisition strategies and campaigns for our client's products
  • Responsible for team-wide performance key performance metrics on large scale paid campaigns
  • Lead strategy and recommendations for customer experience testing and optimizations throughout the customer journey (ad creative, ad placement, landing page experience, conversion forms, post-conversion relationship, A/B and multivariate testing, etc).
  • Work closely with multiple clients to drive success in meeting their goals and partner with the cross-channel leads for integrated campaign program development.
  • Oversee client financials and account profitability
  • Mentor, manage, and grow direct reports
What we need of you:
  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience with deep expertise in Google Ads and Social Media campaign management
  • History of end-to-end management of digital media campaigns
  • Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable speaking about and presenting data to clients
  • Proactive, disciplined, organized, self-starter and highly motivated, comfortable managing uncertainty and working independently
  • Excellent leadership, management and organization skills
  • Exceptional ability to communicate cross-functionally within a highly energetic team
  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns that drive high ROI
Plus:
  • Bachelor's degree required with strong performance in undergraduate coursework and demonstrated analytical success
  • Subject matter expert on programmatic media and strong knowledge of ad tech platforms (DMP, SSPs, Ad Servers)
