Job Description: Provides counseling and crisis intervention services, and acts as a liaison between the health care system and traditional holistic concepts and principles to ensure the health needs of First Nation and Metis clients/patients/residents are met.

Education
- Indigenous Social Work diploma
Experience
- Twelve (12) months previous experience working in health care.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic medical terminology
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate in a First Nation language, where required by the job
- Knowledge of First Nation and Metis culture and traditions
- Valid drivers license

The First Nations and Métis Health Coordinator provides culturally safe, client-centered home care, with a focus on cultural care planning, inclusion of traditional practices, and holistic support for First Nation, Métis, and Inuit clients and families. The Coordinator works collaboratively with clients, families, communities, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure care respects cultural values, promotes holistic wellness, dignity, continuity of care. and strengthens connections to community supports and traditional healing practices.
This is a community based position providing services in clinic and home settings. Travel required to various community sites within the Primary Health Care Networks (Regina). Home base for this position is: 1504 Albert Street
