Reporting to the Supervisor, Capital Reporting, You will be responsible for the reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of capital financial information. By consolidating financial forecasts on a monthly, annual, and quarterly basis, this role supports informed decision‑making across the business. Working closely with key stakeholders, this role helps enhance reporting and analysis tools to develop high‑performance reports and dashboards, providing meaningful insights that move the Utilities businesses forward.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for analysis to support the monthly reporting; including capital expenditures, cost pools, and key performance indicators

• Prepare reports and present material analyzing and explaining variances between actual and forecasts for the month and current year

• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

• Build, distribute, and maintain key reports and dashboards for various internal Senior Leaders 

• Design and manage tools and techniques to efficiently manage large volumes of data

• Develop and maintain high-performance data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and provide ad hoc reporting

• Identify and implement reporting process improvements through optimized utilization of reporting systems and tools.

• Prepare routine journal entries each month-end to ensure financial results match the activity of the business 

• Prepare monthly capital account reconciliations.

What You'll Bring: 

• Undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institution

• A professional accounting designation CPA 

• dvanced proficiency in Excel, with demonstrated knowledge of Power BI

• Minimum 2 years of post CPA designation related experience in financial accounting and reporting, budgeting concepts 

• Experience with Oracle Cloud would be an asset

• Strategic thinker with the ability to understand how Finance and Accounting influences and impacts the business

• Ability to manage critical reporting deadlines, using proven problem solving, communication, and multitasking skills

• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
