Hydraulic Designer

• Build and calibrate hydraulic models to develop solutions that improve the performance, capacity, and reliability of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Produce clear, data‑driven studies and plans that deliver concise, actionable guidance for multi‑million‑dollar infrastructure decisions.
• Support field investigations, data collection, and condition assessments to inform engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Transportation, Water Resources, Planning, and Municipal Engineering to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Apply innovative design approaches and digital tools to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and long‑term service life of infrastructure assets.
• Contribute to projects that strengthen community resilience, respond to climate impacts, and address infrastructure deterioration.
   

• You bring hands‑on experience in water and sanitary hydraulic modelling within municipal or water resources projects.
• You're comfortable working with tools such as WaterGEMs/SewerGEMs, InfoWater Pro, PCSWMM, and supporting design platforms like AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• You've contributed to real‑world engineering solutions involving sanitary or potable water systems, with stormwater experience considered an asset.
• You thrive in collaborative environments and are adaptable across field, office, and digital project workflows.
• You care deeply about meaningful, community‑impacting work and continuously improving your technical craft.
