DuPont is currently looking for Production Operators to join its evening team in Thetford Mines, Canada If you are looking for a dynamic and stimulating work environment with a dynamic work team, this position is for you

We offer a 40-hour schedule spread over five shifts, Monday to Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The salary offered is $24.52/hour upon entry into the position and can increase to $30.14/hour with the acquisition of skills in addition to an evening premium of $1.75/hour.

In addition, DuPont offers several interesting programs and competitive advantages;

• A signing bonus of $2,000 divided into two installments, $1,000 when the first pay is paid and $1,000 after 360 hours worked.

• Paid meal break; works 37.5h and paid 40.0h.

Our Thetford Mines plant manufactures Corian Quartz brand quartz sinter products. We ensure the manufacture of the product from the raw material to the final slab while ensuring that we meet the requirements in order to offer a superior quality product.

The employee will operate and monitor equipment and facilities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with operating procedures.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Understand and comply with security requirements.

• Patrol the designated area to monitor equipment and process conditions to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and environmental regulations.

• Perform shutdown, cleaning and safety of equipment for maintenance work.

• Maintaining operations in a continuous process.

• Understand the process and equipment steps.

• Run equipment cleanup for color transitions.

Qualifications

To be qualified for this role, the following are required:

• High school diploma.

• Be 18 years of age or older at the time of onboarding.

• Be fluent in French.

• Be able to wear the required personal protective equipment.

• Be in good physical condition (climb stairs, lift 30 lbs).

• Perform tasks that involve repetitive movements.

• Be able to work in moderately high temperatures.

• Factory experience is considered an asset.

• Holding a forklift license is also considered an asset.
