Inovata Foods Corp. is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and plays a key role in supporting maintenance operations, inventory accuracy, and preventative maintenance planning.
Position DetailsVacancy Type: Existing Vacancy (new position)
Compensation: $26.70 per hour
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Receive, verify, and process incoming maintenance parts and materials
Accurately put away parts into designated bins and maintain organized inventory locations
Organize and execute the maintenance cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient maintenance storeroom
Work closely with the maintenance team to establish and manage minimum/maximum stock levels and reorder points
Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages, obsolete materials, or improvement opportunities
Collaborate with the MRO Buyer to ensure coverage and continuity, acting as backup support as needed
Support maintenance work orders by ensuring required parts are available and properly staged
Maintain inventory records and support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with preventative maintenance (PM) planning, including creating PM plans, part kits, and templates within the maintenance management system
Support backlog prioritization and PM corrective work scheduling
Provide corporate-level support as required, including backup assistance for the Edmonton Maintenance MRO function
Perform other related duties as assigned
Day Shift
Candidates must be available for flexible hours, varying shifts, and occasional weekends

1–3 years of experience in inventory control, parts coordination, storeroom management, or a related role
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, and inventory or maintenance management systems (CMMS experience is an asset)
Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, purchasing, and operations teams
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
