The Opportunity
Build the Future With Us – As an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer in Mississauga, you'll support the design and delivery of foundations, earthworks, and transportation‑related geotechnical solutions that shape Ontario's growing communities.
Your Impact
- Design subsurface investigation programs and interpret geotechnical data to support foundations, shoring, earthworks, pavements, and slope stability solutions.
- Deliver clear, technically sound analyses and recommendations that guide major decisions for transportation, municipal, industrial, and land development projects.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, design briefs, and construction‑phase guidance to support successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with structural, civil, environmental, and materials engineering teams to integrate geotechnical insight into multidisciplinary designs.
- Conduct site visits, field reviews, drilling oversight, and QA/QC activities to ensure accuracy and safety of field programs.
- Apply geotechnical design software and numerical modelling tools to evaluate soil‑structure interaction and optimize project outcomes.
- Contribute to sustainable design approaches that reduce environmental impact and improve long‑term resilience.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Several years of hands‑on geotechnical engineering experience supporting transportation, municipal, or site development projects.
- A degree in Geological, Geotechnical, or Civil Engineering, and progression toward (or attainment of) a P.Eng. designation in Ontario.
- Comfortable conducting field work, geotechnical investigations, and construction‑phase reviews.
- Proficient with tools such as SLOPE/W, Settle3, PLAXIS, or equivalent geotechnical modelling software.
- Motivated by delivering practical engineering solutions that strengthen communities.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $84,500 – $113,500
MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $81,100 – $107,700 Disclosure:
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
