Marketing Manager – Marketing Operations
We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to supports the development of the product vision and strategy by helping to grow our player base and deepen our relationships with our players. Part of the broader Player Development & Engagement team, this role serves as a subject matter expert across one of the various core marketing disciplines:
Growth Marketing – New player acquisitions and lapsed player reengagement through various external marketing channels Player Engagement – Player monitoring and management, customer lifecycle strategy, promotion ideation Marketing Operations – Campaign execution, comms channel optimization, automation development Marketing Enablement – Marketing technology optimization and development, new mar-tech onboarding
Working with Senior Marketing Managers and various cross-functional stakeholders, the Marketing Manager evaluates opportunities, identifies solutions, and delivers marketing initiatives that responsibly drive revenue growth, and outstanding customer experience. This role supports the development of strategies within their core marketing discipline and ensures initiatives align with overall business priorities and division goals.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Sr Director Player Development & Engagement, and working with peers focused on the Marketing Operations discipline you will be empowered to:
Translate marketing campaign briefs into detailed campaign execution plans across multiple owned channels (email, push notifications, in-app messages, in-app banners etc.)
Build, test, and launch campaigns using pre‑built templates or through bespoke configurations developed in partnership with designers, content authors, and technical resources
Conduct QA and validation across devices, segments, tracking links, and eligibility logic to ensure error‑free, compliant deployment
Optimize channel performance by monitoring deliverability, engagement, frequency, and audience saturation, and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness
Build, enhance, and maintain automated lifecycle journeys and triggered communications
Manage workflow documentation, naming conventions, internal processes and campaign governance standards to ensure consistency and scalability
Partner with analytics and Digital Agile Enablement to analyze campaign performance and operational bottlenecks, providing insights and continuous‑improvement recommendations for speed, quality, and scalability
Support issue resolution by identifying root causes, coordinating fixes with technical teams, and implementing preventative measures
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME
Education & Experience:
Deep knowledge of marketing strategies, tactics and channel opportunities for relevant domains/products in the respective core marketing disciplines
Solid knowledge of industry trends, user demands, and pain points to be able to develop relevant strategy
Comfortable with technology/IT to be able to leverage tools to drive new promotional opportunities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (3-5 years) work experience.
Experience in Agile Development, with Product Owner (or similar) experience is an asset
Experience with digital marketing via direct to consumer channels (media, email, CRM, owned assets, social, etc.)
Minimum three (3) years in marketing experience with a focus on direct to consumer marketing
Relevant Skills:
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling story
Demonstrated ability to operate in a multi-disciplined environment including technology, new product development, product design, promotion, merchandising, advertising, public relations and market research.
Strong problem solver with ability to find solutions to drive progress, often with a high level of ambiguity
