We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate at our facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is central to our daily operations, involving the efficient handling of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for a range of tasks from receiving and stocking inventory to picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Our ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong attention to detail, and prioritizes Safety in all aspects of their work. This position is critical for maintaining the flow of our Logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload materials onto and from pallets, shelves, and vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with Safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining the security and integrity of the warehouse.
- Support team members in achieving operational goals and deadlines within our Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 55 lbs throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to Safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting which may have varying temperatures.
- Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
