Become a key member of our logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Sacramento, California! We are searching for dedicated individuals to accurately select items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and precise order processing. You'll operate in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, adhering to rigorous safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and scanning technology.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring product integrity and presentation.
- Verify the accuracy of all picked and packed items against order details.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company policies and safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when required.
- Follow directions from supervisors to optimize productivity and workflow within the logistics process.
- Adhere to all attendance, performance, and conduct expectations.
- Wear all required PPE diligently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Capability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills for order verification.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is mandatory.
- Willingness to consistently wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a logistics environment is beneficial.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
