We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is key to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring materials are moved, organized, and prepared for distribution. You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an orderly stockroom. Safety is paramount in this position, and adherence to all company policies and procedures is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to perform tasks requiring consistent movement and Lifting, and possess a strong commitment to workplace safety. Experience with forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a plus. We foster a collaborative environment where teamwork and efficiency are highly valued. Your role will directly support our order fulfillment process and contribute to the overall success of our supply chain. - Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Assisting with receiving and stocking incoming goods.
- Preparing materials for shipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Performing routine checks on equipment.
- Assisting other warehouse personnel as needed.
