Join our team in San Antonio, Texas, as a Receiving Clerk and play a critical role in managing the incoming flow of products at our busy distribution facility. This position is fundamental to maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that our logistics pipeline runs smoothly. You will be responsible for the complete process of receiving goods, from unloading trucks to verifying shipments and updating our tracking systems. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload deliveries from vendors and carriers.
- Carefully check incoming goods against order paperwork for discrepancies in quantity and quality.
- Identify and report any damaged or incorrect items immediately.
- Record all received inventory into our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Apply appropriate labels and tags for inventory tracking and storage.
- Coordinate with the logistics and inventory teams to resolve any receiving issues.
- Keep the receiving dock area clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Prior experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory control role is highly recommended.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including Lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
- Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
