Become a key player in our San Diego, California distribution center as a Distribution Center Associate. This multifaceted role involves a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be involved in receiving and put-away of goods, order picking and packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is paramount. You will operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, adhering to all **safety** protocols. **Lifting** of products, sometimes up to 60 lbs, will be a regular part of your duties. A strong understanding of warehouse **logistics** and efficient workflow processes is beneficial. You must be committed to following all **PPE** requirements and **safety** procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is crucial. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and possess a positive attitude. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. This role offers the opportunity to gain broad experience across different warehouse functions and contribute to our overall operational excellence. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for outbound **logistics**.
- Operate MHE safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** guidelines.
- Perform **lifting** and maneuvering of products as required.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
