Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with Safety standards and regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment when necessary, following all safety guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and system upgrades.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
- Ensure proper use and availability of PPE for all personnel working with or around machinery.
- While not the primary focus, may occasionally require Lifting of components up to 50 lbs during repairs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to undergo background checks.
- Certification in forklift operation is a significant asset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
