We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our growing warehouse team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Key duties include reading order tickets, locating products, and carefully packing them using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit. Success in this position relies on speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. You'll work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. This role is essential to our overall logistics process, directly impacting our ability to meet customer demands. We emphasize a safe working environment and provide all necessary training. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, contribute to inventory management efforts, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and possesses a strong work ethic. Understanding of warehouse equipment and procedures is a plus. You will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, which will be provided. This position involves significant standing, walking, and moderate Lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Continuous improvement and a commitment to efficiency are highly valued.
