We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, pick, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. You will collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain organized storage areas and assist in inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely are essential. This position requires significant physical exertion, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds and operating heavy machinery. We prioritize the Safety of our employees and expect all team members to adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Experience with various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, is highly desirable. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and data entry.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding PPE and workplace Safety .
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of Logistics and warehouse operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
