Seeking a dynamic Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Huntsville, Alabama! This role is essential to our logistics network, supporting the seamless movement of goods within our distribution center. You will engage in a range of activities, from receiving and stocking to picking and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and dedicated to upholding high standards of safety and operational efficiency. You will be an integral part of ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific customer requirements and deadlines.
- Load and unload trucks, employing safe lifting techniques and proper equipment usage.
- Operate various warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management processes, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is desirable.
- Ability to perform consistent physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
