Join our large-scale Distribution Center team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are seeking dedicated individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our logistics hub. In this multifaceted role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This position demands a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive environment. Your role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, meeting performance targets.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and committed to a consistent work schedule.
