We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our logistics infrastructure. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance on forklifts, conveyor systems, racking, and other material handling equipment, as well as diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a proven track record in equipment maintenance are essential. We require a commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. This position involves moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. You will work closely with warehouse management and staff to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance. - Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of warehouse systems for optimal logistics.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling parts or equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs.
