We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the overall integrity of our stock. You will work closely with warehouse associates, supervisors, and management to implement and uphold inventory control procedures. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and profitability of our logistics operations. We prioritize safety and expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder points.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
