We are seeking an experienced Material Handler for our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials throughout our warehouse. This role is critical to our logistics process, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are readily available and efficiently managed. You will operate various types of equipment to move materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to a safe and productive working environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from production or shipping areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with safety procedures and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Keep work areas clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and logistics best practices.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 75 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
