Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Worker in San Jose, California. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will be an integral part of our logistics operations, contributing to efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong physical capabilities, and demonstrates a commitment to workplace Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items from shelves based on order tickets, ensuring accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work area and following Safety protocols.
- Experience with RF scanners is beneficial.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes.
