We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. You will operate manual and powered equipment to move materials within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information against orders.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Inspect products for damage and report any issues.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is essential.
