Are you an energetic individual looking for a rewarding career in the logistics industry? We have an immediate opening for an Order Picker at our Orlando, Florida facility. In this role, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging technology and your keen eye for detail to pick and pack a variety of goods. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick products from designated warehouse locations using order lists and scanners.
- Accurately pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify the contents of each order against the customer's request and shipping manifest.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your assigned picking zones and the overall warehouse.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to your supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies, including strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Participate in regular inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions and product information.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safe operating procedures.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
