Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our state-of-the-art facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our warehouse equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment failures in a timely manner.
  • Install and set up new equipment according to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in managing spare parts inventory and ordering necessary supplies.
  • Perform regular safety checks and audits of equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and address equipment needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for equipment performance and warehouse safety.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or associate's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics challenges.
  • Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures.
