Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Install and set up new equipment according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory and ordering necessary supplies.
- Perform regular safety checks and audits of equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and address equipment needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for equipment performance and warehouse safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or associate's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics challenges.
- Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
