Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, transporting items to and from different areas of the warehouse, and assisting with inventory organization. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of products through our facility and ensuring that materials are readily available for our fulfillment teams. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, requiring all team members to adhere strictly to established protocols and utilize appropriate PPE at all times. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing tasks that involve significant manual labor, including regular Lifting and operating material handling equipment. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively as part of a team are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from various sources.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Assist in organizing and stocking inventory in designated areas.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic inventory counts and checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Support receiving and shipping departments as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent and heavy Lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing tasks.
- Familiarity with logistics principles is a plus.
