We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our distribution center, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately. This position requires a proactive approach to tasks and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of work. Your efforts will directly contribute to the successful execution of our supply chain and logistics strategies. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with precision and speed according to customer requirements.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, aisles, and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure operational goals are met.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Awareness of and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the entire shift.
