Position Overview: We are looking for a proficient Senior IT Systems Administrator specializing in Active Directory Infrastructure. You will take charge of designing, administering, and supporting our on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID environment. If you are a self-motivated professional who enjoys driving initiatives and identifying areas for enhancement, this role is for you. Your expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, and related technologies will be crucial in ensuring the security and reliability of our directory services. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage hybrid Active Directory infrastructure. Advanced troubleshooting of AD replication, Trusts, Group Policy Management, LDAP, Kerberos, AD security, AD Federation Services, and DNS. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of on-premises Active Directory across several forests. Support migration efforts, including planning, design, and execution of migrating AD objects between domains, as well as decommissioning legacy domains. Join on-call rotations for 24x7 incident response; be available for flexible hours to conduct changes during off-peak times. Develop and enforce robust security policies and procedures for directory services. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of directory services with various applications. Monitor Active Directory performance, implementing improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Keep up with the latest trends and developments in Active Directory, Entra ID, and related technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining Active Directory infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Entra ID and related technologies. Familiarity with security best practices for directory services. Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, are advantageous. Preferred Skills: Experience with hybrid environments integrating on-premises Active Directory with cloud services. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell. Experience with domain migrations and consolidations. Familiarity with identity and access management solutions like Microsoft Identity Manager. Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Basic network troubleshooting skills. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with Google SecOps, Windows Server Update Services, and PRTG monitoring is a plus. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (2016-2025) in physical and virtual environments. Benefits: Opportunities for career development and advancement.
