In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with software engineering, data science, and product management teams to develop scalable data solutions that drive growth strategies and enhance user experience for our extensive user base and internal community. You will tackle intriguing data challenges at an unparalleled scale, becoming part of a renowned data engineering community that emphasizes skill development and career advancement. Key Responsibilities: Design and oversee the data architecture for significant projects while assessing operational cost-benefit tradeoffs.
Develop and enhance frameworks that optimize data logging efficacy and collaborate with data infrastructure to troubleshoot issues.
Work with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to comprehend data requirements and visually represent key data insights meaningfully.
Establish and manage Service Level Agreements for all data sets within your area of responsibility.
Develop and implement security models in line with privacy standards, ensuring compliance with safeguards, addressing data quality issues, and refining governance processes.
Create, launch, and manage collections of complex data models and visualizations that cater to various use cases across different products.
Address complex data integration challenges using optimal Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) frameworks and techniques, drawing from both structured and unstructured data sources.
Improve and maintain existing production processes, optimizing intricate code through advanced algorithms.
Enhance pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to streamline the development of data artifacts.
Guide product and cross-functional teams in discovering data opportunities that deliver impactful results.
Mentor team members, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience working with data, including roles such as data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or similar.
7+ years of expertise in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. degree in a STEM field.
Compensation: $177,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Industry:
