The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for overseeing a defined region, taking full responsibility for account management and growth. This role proactively promotes IDT products and solutions through phone outreach, virtual meetings, email communication and onsite visits when needed. This position reports to the Inside Sales Team Lead and will be fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Build and maintain a strong, sustainable sales pipeline by identifying, researching, and evaluating existing and potential customer accounts. This includes proactively gathering insights on customer needs, market trends, and organizational structures to guide strategic outreach. Drive new business by generating and qualifying leads, preparing targeted information for outbound activities, and initiating high?quality phone, email, and virtual engagements to expand IDT's presence in your territory. Demonstrate strong consultative selling skills by uncovering customer needs through effective questioning and active listening. Translate customer challenges into clear opportunities and position the appropriate IDT solutions using solid product knowledge and value?based selling. Take ownership of new initiatives and contribute directly to organizational growth. Show accountability, drive, and a results?oriented mindset by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance expectations. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or related field required. Previous experience in the Life Science market, preferably in a customer-oriented and/or sales environment preferred. Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required, including Microsoft Teams. Experience and Proficiency with popular CRM's (Salesforce) preferred.
