The Associate Territory Sales Representative supports overall territory growth by assisting with new business development, outbound prospecting, and customer engagement activities. This role requires a motivated and organized individual who can perform high-volume outreachincluding at least fifty cold calls per daywhile helping to build and maintain strong customer relationships. The Associate Territory Sales Representative will work both independently and in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager to identify opportunities, generate leads, and contribute to expanding the customer base within the assigned market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes, but is not limited to, the following: Establish productive, professional relationships with new customer accounts. Conduct a minimum of 50 outbound cold calls/email per day to identify and qualify new business opportunities. Research, solicit, and develop new prospect leads within assigned territories. Assist with managing and growing the sales pipeline through consistent follow-up and lead management. Support negotiations and contribute to closing new customer agreements. Perform market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential customer segments. Provide timely, solutions-oriented support that aligns with client needs. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities within CRM systems. Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and training activities as required. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent business-to-business sales experience. Minimum of two (2) years of direct B2B sales experience, including cold-calling and prospecting. Ability to travel (approximately 12 days per week). Experience selling to corporate risk or finance departments is highly beneficial. Insurance background preferred but not required. Language Skills Strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent internal and external customer service. Excellent written and verbal skills. Technical Skills Self-starter with strong initiative and a collaborative mindset. Reasoning Ability Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. Strong organizational, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency Demonstrates dependability, punctuality, and strong attendance. Able to work independently while also partnering effectively with team members. Physical Demands and Working Conditions The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed clearly and understandably both in person and over telephone. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound. Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
